This is a new style for me, it’s called a brick cake, inspired by cake gurus in Australia and the Far East, who are light years ahead in cake art! I was given free reign to make whatever I wanted, so despite the scorching heat, two fan and everything still melting in front of me I decided to opt for this! (And yes half way through I was cursing myself for starting it) It was a lot harder to make than it might look, so I’m very proud of it! Hope the birthday girls loved it too!

Vegan children’s celebration cake! Fun and vibrant, I make these in different colour combos all the time and they look cute in every colour. They come with a cute name banner on paper straws and will easily feed 12-15, so if you need a last minute fun cake for a child you know where to come!

With a very delicious filling. Vanilla cake with passion fruit curd, fresh mango and passion fruit buttercream. Parents of 1 year olds should definitely pick what they like as the 1 year old will probably have no more than a teaspoon!

Colourful and fun unicorn cake
I love splashing cakes with edible paint but boy does it make a mess! Didn’t help that I also dropped half a pot of silver paint all over the bakery floor, with an audience outside! Oh well I guess it’s all part and parcel of baking and decorating Infront of our customers. Worth it though for this cutie, especially when it is rose and pistachio!
I was given free reign on this cake. I can’t even tell you how much fun I had making this one! And the little girls face when she saw it was an absolute delight, she said and I quote “it’s better than every cake on the phone” she’s clearly been scrolling through her mummy’s phone!
