Having our bakery open to the public means we get to make a little extra of whatever we’re baking to order, for sale by the slice or piece along with a cup of freshly ground coffee or tea to sit out in our covered and heated arcade.
It also means get to sample the quality of our cake sponge before your special occasion rather than ordering blind and hoping it’ll be alright on the night.
We also sell accessories for your cake like personalised toppers, banners and not forgetting candles. We can’t tell you how often people forget the candles!
We’ve got an amazing independent and local artist, Sam who makes all our bespoke toppers. She was inspired to add artwork with figures of colour so that children of ethnicities felt seen and represented on their special days.
Also available at the bakery is honey from Bushwood Bees just two miles away, you could get more local and it’s made such a difference to local hayfever sufferers, so many of whom have bought again and again.
Their award winning raw local London honey is extracted by us the beekeepers, managing the entire process and guaranteeing all the raw honey is real, pure and untreated.
Being both raw honey and local honey means each batch is unique and has a slightly different texture and taste due to the the numerous plants, trees, fruit, vegetables and and bushes the bees forage on at the time of year.
Coarsely strained and unheated ensuring the honey contains pollen from plants and trees in the local area and is never blended with other honey, fine filtered or flash heat treated
